The Mediterranean Classroom

AI, Digital Education & Media Literacy

"Think globally. Connect digitally. Learn responsibly."

A grounded, non-hyped week on AI, digital tools and media literacy — for teachers who want practical answers, not just conference slides.

About the programme

What this week is really about

AI is already in students' pockets. This programme helps educators understand what current tools actually do, how to use them responsibly in teaching, and how to grow critical, media-literate students who don't just consume — they question.

You'll experiment hands-on with AI tools for lesson design, differentiation and assessment, explore digital safety and data ethics, and build a small media-literacy unit adapted to your subject and age group. The Mediterranean setting is deliberate — a reminder that technology serves human learning, not the other way round.

The Gozo connection

A week off-screen enough to think clearly, and connected enough to test the newest tools with an international peer group.
